The ROCK  (Relying On Christ the King)

At Christ the King church, we want our young people to know that there is only one Rock on which they will be able to truly stand, Christ the King.  No matter what they have been through, are going through, or will go through, a living, dynamic and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ will see them stand firm amidst the trials of life.  The name of our group is taken from Deuteronomy 32:4 and Moses’ description of God as a Rock: He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just.  A faithful God who does no wrong,  upright and just is he.  It is our desire that our students will come to love this Rock. 

To that end we meet weekly for Bible study and see how God’s Word reveals Jesus Christ as the only true Rock.  We seek God’s truth for our lives and apply it to our lives.  Our desire is that God’s word will change us and we will bear fruit for the Kingdom of God through our spiritual maturity and the influence we have on those around us. 

In addition to regular Bible study, we offer our students regular social activities to hang out and get to know each other better in a more relaxed environment.  We also participate in regular service and missions projects to encourage our youth to practically apply what they learn in God’s word.

At Christ the King church, it is our desire that our young people will daily grow in Christian maturity and that they will be prepared to face the temptations of this world, standing on the solid Rock, Jesus Christ.
